Girls night in

Last night my friend Janna had Beth, Amy and I over to drink wine, eat appetizers and watch a movie. We decided that this is something we would like to do once a week so we can all get together and relax.  

Here are a few takeaways from the evening: 

• I actually took the bus to get there.  It wasn't tragic and it went without incident.  There could potentially be more bus rides in my future.  
• Wine is always better when it's consumed in massive quantities.
  
• Like wine, cheese is best when the entire block(s) get eaten.
• Trader Joe's makes amazing miniature pizzas.  They can be eaten in three bites and nobody can tell how many you have had. 
  
• Even when a movie is on the agenda it's not necessarily going to occur.  
• Between the 4 of us we didn't have the attention span to watch CSI, NCIS or anything that actually had a plot.  The Britney Spears special and Real Housewives of Orange County were a little more our speed. 
• When Amy (not me, the other Amy) chugs 3 glasses of wine she passes out on Janna's bed. 
• Beth, Janna and myself are always willing to "open one more bottle."
